                                Junkanoo carnival is
                                traditionally held every year
                                around Bay Street, Nassau,
normally on Boxing Day or New
Year's Day. It was re-created for
                                filming mid-April 1965, shot over
two long nights - with additional
shots done two weeks later. The parade
                                marchers were directed around a
                                particular block, prizes had been
offered for the best costumes and
floats. There was a lot of
interest in the filming over the
two days - over 10,000 people
showed up to watch the spectacle.
